Restrictions Imposed Near Secretariat. The Hyderabad Police have imposed restriction in and around Secretariat in order to maintain public order, peace and tranquility.
Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Police have imposed restriction in and around Secretariat in order to maintain public order, peace and tranquility. The city police prohibited holding of any public meeting, assembly of five or more persons, carrying firearms, banners, placards, or any likely weapon etc., shouting of slogans, assembling of speeches, holding processions and demonstrations, picketing or dharnas within the area specified in the schedule without a written permission. This order would be in force with effect from 6 am on Saturday till 6 am on September.
It has been proliferated that any person violating the order would be liable for punishment under section 188 of the IPC and as per the provisions of Hyderabad City Police Act.
The police also ordered that wine shops, including bars in restaurants with an exception of bars in star hotels and registered clubs, within the limits of Hyderabad would remain closed from 6 am on July 20 to 6 am on July 22 on account of Bonalu festival.
