Gokul Chat Episode: Muslim Daughter Wants to Stay With Hindu Father. In an uncommon incident, a man sought permission from the court for conducting a DNA test so as to prove that his daughter legitimately belongs to him.
Hyderabad: In an uncommon incident, a man sought permission from the court for conducting a DNA test so as to prove that his daughter legitimately belongs to him. This incident came into light in Goshamahal subdivision. Tracing back to August 25, 2007, terrorists exploded bomb near the famous Gokul Chat center in Sultan Bazar. A small distance from the place of the incident, a painter saw a lost 4-year-old girl Sania, took her home and raised her till date. Religious stance came up on a Hindu breeding a Muslim kid.
The story of Sania came into limelight, when a programme was telecasted about her at the time of the explosions Dilsukhnagar. Yusuf who is a driver reported a missing complaint of his daughter in the police station. The Yusuf Couple claim that Sania is their daughter and requested the magistrate to order for a DNA test to bring out the legitimacy. The girl Sania Sultana alias Fatima is now 12 years of age and considers Papalal who bred her as her father. Papalal is not ready to be separated from his daughter neither does Sania.
This is a case of more a battle of love and affection between the parents by duty and the biological parents of Sania, besides the untoward religious barriers.
