NVVS Prabhakar sits-in for dharna

Hyderabad: On Friday night, NVVS Prabhakar, a Telangana MLA of the Bharatiya Janata Party, went on protest against near Shiva Ganga Wines Shop located at Nacharam, which is just next to a school in Veera Reddy Colony. He was supported by the BJP activists and the local residents. Nevertheless, the wine shop owners didn’t accept to relocate the shop. The local excise officials reached there and seized the shop making the MLA and residents happy.

It has become a common practice to set up the wine shops near temples, schools and other restricted areas. The authorities go unseen until and unless if something in a similar manner happens. This issue needs to be taken up seriously by the government as the same creates an embarrassing situation to many people, especially the women and girls.
