Rabid dog goes on biting spree at UoH

Hyderabad: The staff and students of University of Hyderabad (UoH) on Friday evening were forced to flee to save their skins from a rabid dog. The dog attacked and bit about 30 people. The incident happened when the students and the staff were ambling back to their homes. Groups of students tried hard to chase it away several times but the dog managed to scoot into the jungles. The Students’ Welfare Dean of the campus asked all the students not to come out of their hostel rooms. A GHMC’s dog catching unit was called to free the UoH campus from the dog menace.
