TITA Request IT Firms For Paid Holiday On Survey Day. Telangana Information Technology Association (TITA) welcomes the Telangana Government decision of conducting Intensive Housing Survey and request IT Companies to give paid holiday on 19th August.
Telangana Information Technology Association (TITA) welcomes the Telangana Government decision of conducting Intensive Housing Survey and request IT Companies to give paid holiday on 19th August.
“TITA welcome the TS Government historic decision on conducting the Intensive Household Survey. Such surveys help in providing the transparent administration and rooting out the Political corruption. We requests all the IT Companies and Corporate offices in Telangana to announce Paid Holiday on Tuesday, 19th August'14 which helps in smooth conduct of survey. Intensive Household Survey is the one time solution for effective implementation of Government schemes and Welfare programs. This is a bold step from Telangana Government in bringing all databases in one roof.” Said TITA Founder & President Sundeep Kumar Makthala.
"As per a NASSCOM report, one direct IT employee will need three to four support staff (security personnel, backhand staff, drivers, housekeeping and canteen staff). The total head count of IT employees for the year 2013-14 is 3,23 691 employees in Telangana State and 8.5 to 10 lakh support staff including all departments. Several employees are from different districts of Telangana and neighboring states, who live with a group of employees or alone. While those residing with families will be able to furnish the details, many living alone are confused and don’t want to hand over their details to neighbours or friends. Most of the support staff are white-card holders and require state benefits. But since no holiday has been declared even the indirect IT employees have to work.” Said Makthala.
“The main aim of this Survey is that the people of Telangana who are really in need of the Government schemes to be benefited. This is the right opportunity for the people of Telangana who are still not receiving the benefits from government schemes and welfare programs. Huge surveys like this make life easier for the people of Telangana in getting their benefits. TITA requests the people of Telangana to cooperate and provide all the requested data to enumerators to ensure the fast and effective completion of Survey.” Said TITA Vice President Naveen Reddy Gaddam.
