Zaheerabad: The TRS government is hoodwinking the people after winning their trust, alleged Medak district BJP president Kasala Butchi Reddy here on Wednesday.
Addressing a meeting of the Zaheerabad constituency main party leaders, he observed that Central assistance was absolutely necessary for the development of newly-formed Telangana State.Reddy accused the TRS government of resorting to criticism of the BJP government for vote bank politics, without implementing any election promises. This was clear from holding the Independence Day celebrations in the Golconda Fort, he added. The BJP leader has challenged the Telangana Government to observe September 17 as the Formation Day and hoist the Tricolour on Golconda Fort. He accused Chief Minister KCR of remaining indifferent to the Central allocation of funds for setting up AIIMS and Horticulture University. Party leaders G E Srinivas Goud, Baswaraj Patil, Pandari, Venupallod, Vishwanath Yadav, Bakkayya Gupta, Bandi Venkat, Kishtanna, Malakir Sekhar and Rajkumar were present.
