Telangana police patrolling vehicles launch today, After the unveiling of Telangana Police Logo on Tuesday, now it’s the turn of launching of the hi-tech patrolling vehicles.
Hyderabad: After the unveiling of Telangana Police Logo on Tuesday, now it’s the turn of launching of the hi-tech patrolling vehicles. The police department has done up with the procurement and other issues concerned with the procurement of vehicles.
All is set ready for the Thursday launch of Innova cars and bikes at Tank Bund in Hyderabad by KCR, the Chief Minister of Telangana.
The vehicles will be launched by KCR, the Chief Minister of Telangana, at 11.30 a.m. on Thursday. A total of 300 Innova Cars and 500 Hero Motor Bikes will be unveiled at the special programme on Thursday.
It is worth recollecting that a meeting was held to discuss the same by DGP Anurag Sharma on Tuesday morning. The meeting was attended by City Police Commissioner Mahender Reddy and Cyberabad Police Commissioner CV Anand.
Going with the launch of new vehicles, traffic restrictions have been imposed in Hyderabad. The restrictions are as follows:
- Traffic coming from Secunderabad and going towards Upper Tank Bund will be diverted at Karbala Maidan towards Bansilalpet-Jabbar Complex.
- Traffic from Lower Tank Bund or Telugu Talli flyover, going towards Secunderabad, will not be allowed towards Children’s Park–Upper Tank Bund and diverted at DBR Mills towards Kawadiguda.
- Vehicles from Kawadiguda towards Lower Tank bund will not be allowed towards Children's Park-Upper Tank Bund and diverted at DBR Mills towards Kattamaisamma.
- Traffic coming from Iqbal Minar towards Upper Tank Bund will be diverted at Secretariat old gate on to the Telugu Talli flyover-Kattamaisamma.
- Vehicles from Liberty will not be allowed towards Ambedkar statue and will be diverted towards BRK Bhavan, IT Office, Telugu Talli, Iqbal Minar U-turn, Kattamaisamma.
- Traffic coming from NTR Marg towards Liberty will be diverted at Telugu Tally towards IT Office, Crystal Hotel lane.
