The Telangana State is rejoicing the Independence Day celebrations from Golconda fort for the first time ever. The Telangana State is rejoicing the Independence Day celebrations from Golconda fort for the first time ever. The Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao with his mission towards Bangaru Telangana decided to celebrate Independence Day celebrations at Golconda to bring back its lost glory Nava Telangana state. Here are key points of the CM KCR’s speech

- The CM left no stone unturned to praise Hyderabad and his choice of Golconda fort for Independence celebrations. He highlighted Historical, Scientific, architectural importance of the Golconda Fort.
- The distribution of land three acres of land to the Dalits was started by chief Minister here while the program is initiated in the districts by the respective Ministers
- Central transportation tax on Auto Rickshaws, tractors used for agriculture is being repealed. Government is all set to cancel the Past dues of Rs 76 crore, to reduce the burden on poor and middle class drivers
- 11 crore has been granted for government's debt payments to Erra Jonna farmers. At Nizamabad district the cheques are being delivered to farmers on this auspicious day
- Hailstorms, heavy rains resulted in damaged crops. Therefore, government has released Rs.482 crore for this purpose. Money will be credited into farmer’s bank account directly
- Up to one lakh loan waiver to Power loom workers. Five and a half crore has been released for this purpose
- Special Increment for employees who have played a key role in the Telangana movement.
- To promote sports, the state is all set to create a comprehensive sports policy. The government will bear up to 3lakh expenses of the sportsmen who participate in the international events
- Strengthen Hyderabad police by setting up latest and greatest facilities in the new police vehicles for which 340 crore has been released by the government.
- TSPSC has been setup and the government approved the appointment of 3,600 employees.
- With a huge base of private companies, the government is altering Hyderabad into a WiFi and 4G. Processes are in full swing to develop Hyderabad as IT incubator.
- The government has allocated one crore to renovate Ravindrabharati. Each year best poets will be given Dasarathi Krishnamacharyula cash award of 1,01,116.
- Tribal gudems will be changed into Panchayatis. 12% reservation to Tribes and Muslims. Respective Committees will be setup under supervision of high court judges. Gram panchayats will approve construction of churches.
- As Dusshera and Diwali gift elderly, widows will get Rs 1000, disabled people will get Rs 1500 as pension.
- Government will initiate a programme “kanya Lakshmi” where in up to fifty thousand rupees will be funded for marriages of girls who belong to poor, dalit and tribal families.
- The government is working with RBI for the Loan wavier.
- Government is committed to the promises in election manifesto of the elements, and is vigilant on initiatives related to irrigation, drinking water, housing, electrical, agricultural policies.
- Hyderabad will be surrounded by Pharma city, Sports City, Film City, a manufacturing city, Education City, Healthcare City and satellite townships
- Government will focus on corruption-free, accountable, transparent administration
