Karimnagar: Karimnagar YSR Congress district women’s wing president Ghanta Susheela allegedly hit the party chief Singa Reddy with a chappal on Friday, as differences among the leaders surfaced.
The incident occurred near YSRCP office during the flag-hoisting ceremony at Vavilapalli. It shocked the onlookers, as tension prevailed soon after. Susheela’s husband Satish allegedly aided her in the chappal attack. Provocation for the attack was said to be the party’s alleged failure to provide information to Susheela regarding the Independence Day celebrations.
