Maha Abhishekam for Makhana Krishna by Hare Krishna Movement. Hare Krishna Movement – Hyderabad celebrated Sri Krishna Janmasthami at Swayambhu Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Kshetram, Banjara Hills. The 2nd day celebrations of Sri Krishna Janmasthami concluded at Hare Krishna Movement – Hyderabad, Sri Swayambhu Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple at Banjara Hills on Monday. As part of the celebrations, the following were commemorated.

Hyderabad: Hare Krishna Movement – Hyderabad celebrated Sri Krishna Janmasthami at Swayambhu Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Kshetram, Banjara Hills. The 2nd day celebrations of Sri Krishna Janmasthami concluded at Hare Krishna Movement – Hyderabad, Sri Swayambhu Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple at Banjara Hills on Monday. As part of the celebrations, the following were commemorated.



Moolavar Abhishekam for Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy was done and the Lord was decorated in Lord Krishna avataram with a flute in His lotus hand and butter beside Him.



108 Kalasha Maha Abhishekam : A unique 108 Kalasha Maha Sandhya Abhishekam was performed Where in devotees from all over the state particiapated, particularly for this Abhishekam we have brought 7 sacred reiver waters, Himalayan herbs & aushadis, rare scents, imported flowers, varitites of fruit juices etc said a Hare Krishna devotee. After the Abhishekam the Lord was placed on a nicely decorated Jhulan and all the devotees were given opportunity for performing Dolotsavam to the Lord.



Devotees have been fasting whole day long on account of Janmasthami, they broke their fast and took Lords Prasadam after the event concluded. Sri Satya Gaura Chandra Dasa, President of Hare KrishnaMovement said that the Lords birth and disappearance are very mysterious and spiritual and anybody who could understand it shall definitely bestowed true love for Krishna and get liberation.



Around 5,000 devotees including many dignitaries participated in the 2 day long celebrations and received the blessings of the Lord. The following are proposed for the third day celebrations planned on Tuesday:

Nadotsava & Vyasapuja of Srila Prabhupada on 19th August 2014: Celebrations on the occasion of appearance of Acharya Srila Prabhupada who established ISKCON in 1966. Devotees offer their Homages & express their gratitude to their spiritual master & perform Guru Puja to seek blessings of the spititual master along with a Sandhya Abhishekam on account of Nandotsavam.
