In Hyderabad, the buses going to all districts of the state were looked rush. The Central Bus Station (CBS) and Jubilee Bus Station (JBS) along with Secuderabad Railway station were overcrowded with people.

People along with their families are rushing towards their villages as the state government already declared holiday on 19th. The similar scenes witnessed in district head quarters and other towns.

Rush from other States
People who reside in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and other states are also rushing to their home towns.

The state government declared that this survey is an important and everybody should participate for their own benefit.

Taking the statement seriously, people living outside Telangana are coming to participate in the survey.

Private travels minting money
Usually the festive season is the best time for the private travel operators. But this is an unexpected boon for them.

As government buses and trains are inadequate to bear the growing rush, the private operators are milking the passengers for more. The ticket rates exponentially increased.

Price of a bus ticket from Visakhapatnam is more than that of a flight charge! The commuters are extremely worried about the return fare as the same conditions may prevail then.

Police, RTC join for the survey
Keeping the rush in mind, the TSRTC is operating 800 buses for people going for survey. Special services are being provided for the enumerators. Hyderabad Police Commissioner said there were 4,000 police personnel involved as enumerators working for Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.

No survey in submerging villages
The confusion about the survey being conducted in submerging villages of Khammam district is over. Kunavaram, Vara Ramachandrapuram, Chintur, Velerupadu, Kukkunur, Bhadrachalam (except the town) were transferred to Andhra Pradesh. So there will not be any survey in these villages. Previously, the officials declared that the survey would continue in these villages. Approximately Rs 12 lakh was spent for training the staff, procurement of the survey material etc..
