Will Prof Kodandaram contest from Medak?

Hyderabad: The Congress Party, which has faced a great defeat in the just concluded General Elections, has seriously thinking about winning the Medak Lok Sabha constituency that has fall vacant with the resignation of KCR, the Chief Minister of Telangana.

If the buzz is to be believed, the Congress Party is seriously planning to offer the party ticket to Prof Kodandaram. Almost the entire cadre of Congress Party is in favour of the pitch, reportedly. But, the million dollar question that arises here is whether Prof Kodandaram would contest the elections? Even if he contests, will he contest on Congress Party’s ticket?

If Prof Kodandaram was willing to contest, almost every party might have come forward during the general elections to offer the party ticket. However, he denied politely and said that he had no desire of contesting polls. So, even this time the chances of him denying the proposal are brighter than the acceptance of the proposal. However, if he agrees to contest the polls on Congress Party ticket, surely, it would be a boon to the Congress Party, for the winning chances of the Professor are more dazzling than any other candidate.
