Sangareddy: Deputy Chief Minister Dr T Rajaiah on Tuesday expressed confidence of TRS willing the Medak Lok Sabha by-election. Speaking to the media in the party office here, he claimed that the Congress and BJP were ‘fighting for the second and third spots’ respectively.
Rajaiah alleged that the Congress leaders had never spoken out against the Centre for its ‘anti-Telangana policies’. As such, how the party could seek votes, he wondered.
The Deputy CM contended that Jagga Reddy was facing criminal cases and that none was sure when he would be arrested. He said that Jagga Reddy, an integrationist, was given the ticket as the party could not get a candidate.
