Suryapet pounds a jackpot with Vijayawada as AP’s capital

Suryapet, a town in Nalgonda district, is going to have a very great time as far as the development is concerned. The announcement of Vijayawada as the new capital city of residuary Andhra Pradesh has doubled up the chances of its growth. Geographically the town is located in the middle of Hyderabad and Vijayawada at an equal distance of 130 km away (approx) from both capitals. The roadway leading from Hyderabad to Vijayawada has to pass obviously through Suryapet. So, there is surely scope for the town to grow in leaps and bounds for the following reasons:

Even though the states are divided, the personal relations still remain intact among the people of either region. It is mostly the people of Vijayawada, Guntur, East Godavari and West Godavari districts who have a strong bond with Hyderabad and surrounding areas. Suryapet will be playing the role of a connecting dowel between the two state capitals in many issues including personal, business and cultural et al.

Also, if the buzz and the KCR’s assurance are to be believed, Suryapet is going to the district headquarters of a new district in Telangana. There is a wide scope that an immediate surrounding district of any state capital would be developed - and Suryapet is surrounded by the capital cities of two states. So.....!! There is no doubt that Suryapet would serve the purpose of intermediary for the two states, as far as transportation; communication and various other such issues are concerned.
