Hyderabad: Telangana PCC chief Ponnala Lakshmaiah ridiculed the governance of Telangana State Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao saying the latter reminds him of the rule of Nero, Hitler and Muhammad-bin-Tughluq. On the occasion of KCR regime hitting a century mark, the Congress party raised its voice against the ruling party. Ponnala distributed pamphlets that stated KCR’s rule is similar to that of emperor Nero and Tughluq.
Later Ponnala expressed his concern that happiness is nowhere to be seen in the faces of Telangana people after the bifurcation of state due to the monarchy of Chief Minister KCR. He said “In the aspect of elections KCR has shown the people of Telangana heaven with his false promises, now that he is in the driver’s seat he’s facing hell because of those promises.” He said that KCR has surpassed ‘Sisupala’ when it comes to mistakes and KCR can teach ‘Gobbels’ how to lie. He also referred to KCR as the brother of “Kumbakarna” and compared his rule to that of Emperor Nero.
He said that CM KCR is not even sparing a thought for the current and drought problems of the farmers of Telangana and nearly 167 people committed suicide during his rule. He said that the KCR government has not taken care of families of the heroes who died for the cause of Telangana. The proposed policies such as ‘loan waiver’ , ‘land for SC and ST’, ‘Minority reservations ’ are not getting to the implementation state, he added. Ponnala said that people are getting vexed with the ways of KCR.
