Survey conducted at N Convention Centre

Deputy Collector K Vidya Sagar, Ranga Reddy district assistant director of survey Narahari along with other senior officials conducted a survey at N Convention Centre in Madhapur on Friday. Earlier this year, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) posted caution notices to N Convention Centre informing that it was constructed without valid permission. Irrigation and revenue departments who had surveyed the area suggested that nearly three acres of the tank bed, FTL and buffer zones had been occupied.

The owner, actor Akkineni Nagarjuna, had moved to the Hyderabad High Court and sought status quo. While granting status quo, Justice A Rajasheker Reddy of the Hyderabad High Court directed the state government to respond to the writ petition filed by Nagarjuna, challenging the action of the authorities in fixing the Full Tank Level (FTL) at the N-Convention Centre. On Friday, the officials surveyed the area with a legal order and said that the report would be filed soon.
