Leopard spotted in Madhapur

Leopard was spotted was spotted in the Madhapur village outskirts, Monday night. Some villagers saw the leopard roaming over the stone slab terrain near the forest. The villagers informed the police immediately.

Nizamabad rural CI Venkateshwara Rao along with Maaklur SI Santhosh Kumar and Forest range officer went to the location where leopard was spotted. Immediately after the dark the leopard jumped down causing the people and the police run in panic. The forest officer said that as it is dark it is not possible to catch the leopard during the night.
The police cautioned people of the surrounding villages to be careful and not to come out during the night.
