Srihari condemned Rao’s comments against Chief Minister KCR and the government. He said the TDP leader desperately tried to join TRS and become a minister. He felt distressed as the his tactics had failed. He flayed Rao’s statement that he would set the power situation right within a month, if given an opportunity.

Leaders Srihari, D Vinay Bhaskar, P Sudharshan Reddy and T Ravinder Rao described the TDP leaders’ ongoing ‘bus yatra’ as a desperate attempt to show that his party was still alive.

The TRS leaders said KCR had clearly mentioned the power problems that could occur after the formation of Telangana. “Power crisis has arisen as Congress and TDP governments neglected the sector,” they stated.

‘Power projects were set up in Andhra areas when raw material like coal and water were available in Telangana,” Sudarshan Reddy pointed out.

The TRS leaders denied that the party was luring TDP leaders. “TDP leaders were interested to join TRS on their own, as they were impressed with the government’s performance.
