TRS govt harassing people: MP Gutha

Nalgonda: Congress MP Gutha Sukhender Reddy alleged here on Tuesday that the TRS government was harassing the people by linking the Aadhaar cards with the ration cards applications.

He told the media that people had made the comprehensive household survey a success. He criticised the government for issuing food security cards in place of ration cards. This was in contrast to the Congress government liking the white ration cards to the Arogysri scheme.

Sukhender Reddy alleged that the TRS Ministers had lacked knowledge in governance.

The advice by the opposition was falling on deaf ears of the Ministers, he said. He appealed to Chief Minister to utilise the good offices of Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu, whom he described as the brand ambassador for the two States, for developing Telangana.

The MP found fault with the government for blaming the previous regimes for power problems, while appealing to Telangana TDP leaders to call off their ‘bus yatra’ and prevail upon AP Chief Miniser N Chandrababu Naidu to allot power due to the Telangana State. He urged the AP government to cooperate in generating 2,000 mw required for Hyderabad, the common capital.
