According to the decision taken at the meeting, the session every day would commence at 10 am and there will be 13 working days. The meeting also decided to take up question hour first and adjournment motions later. Though the government had earlier planned to conduct the session for about one month, it was reduced to half 'fearing' that the Opposition may resort to stalling of proceedings on power, suicides, loan waiver and other issues.

Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao expressed his discontentment on Telugu Desam Party (TDP) for the presence of two leaders E Dayakar Rao and A Revanth Reddy in the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) meeting instead of one. When the TDP asked the CM as to why two leaders should not be present, the CM reportedly said that only one leader was allowed to attend the BAC meeting. However, the TDP leaders opposed this and registered their protest.

The BAC meeting also witnessed a heated argument between Errabelli Dayakar Rao, A Revanth Reddy and KCR according to informed sources. The TDP raised the issue of continuation of ban on ABN TV channel by MSOs. Both the leaders sought an explanation from the Chief Minister. Speaker Madhusudhana Chary, Minister Harish Rao and other leaders intervened and pacified them.
