TV9 resumes in Hyderabad, ABN cries foul

Although the ban over the broadcast of TV9 in Telangana has been lifted, the channel is not really accesible to people across Telangana. Only Hathway subscribers in Hyderabad can view the channel. Nevertheless, TV9 has heaved a huge sigh of relief as it can recover at least some losses incurred during all these months since the ban.

The loser however, seems to be ABN Andhra Jyothi channel which was also banned for airing anti-Telangana, anti-KCR content. The channel is yet to resume services. The journalists at ABN are demanding that the channel resumes in the state on war footing. It now remains to be seen how many more days it will take before their prayers are answered.
