Demand for RTC bifurcation
RTC Telangana Mazdoor Union employees staged a protest in front of the Bus Bhavan at RTC crossroads here, demanding that the Corporation be bifurcated forthwith.
Hyderabad: RTC Telangana Mazdoor Union employees staged a protest in front of the Bus Bhavan at RTC crossroads here, demanding that the Corporation be bifurcated forthwith.
The employees protested at the delay in dividing the RTC though the State was bifurcated. The TMU leaders presented a memorandum to RTC Joint-Director Ramana Rao, urging the management to take measure to ensure that the Corporation was divided. They alleged that the committee, constituted to recommend the modalities of RTC, was acting in such a manner as to hurt the sentiments of Telangana people. The Chief Secretaries of Telangana State and Andhra Pradesh should immediately focus their attention on division of assets and corporation between them, they said.
Telangana public sector Joint Action Committee leader Sivaji Aswadham Reddy, Thomas Reddy, Devi Prasad and others took part in the protest.
