CPI Leader Slams Modi, KCR. Communist Party of India (CPI) district secretary Bagam Hemanth Rao has said that both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao were playing into the hands of powerful corporate forces and hurting workers’ interests.

Khammam: Communist Party of India (CPI) district secretary Bagam Hemanth Rao has said that both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao were playing into the hands of powerful corporate forces and hurting workers’ interests.

Lashing out at Modi and KCR for rolling out red carpet to MNCs, at a CPI rally at Chinna Thanda here on Sunday, he said that privatisation of public sector undertakings would hit workers hard, as it would be a threat to their jobs. Coming down heavily on KCR for failing to keep up his promise of providing jobs to unemployed youth, Rao said it was unfortunate that the government failed to waive farm loans.
