Hyderabad: TDP floor leader Errabelli Dayakar Rao on Friday advised Telangana government to avoid having confrontation with the Centre or the neighbouring Andhra Pradesh government.

Speaking on the Appropriation Bill 2014-15 in the State Legislative Assembly, Errabelli said the confrontation would not serve any purpose and instead it would hurt the development process of Telangana. Being the Chief Minister of the new State, he advised K Chandrashekar Rao to maintain friendly relationship with everyone, including the opposition parties in the State.

Errabelli blamed the State government for farmers' suicide and said no assurance was given to prevent farmers from resorting to the extreme step. He also accused the government of having failed to address problems faced by other sections of the society. He also accused the TRS government of wrongly projecting the TDP as anti-Telangana.
