Hyderabad: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) senior leader A Revanth Reddy, who was denied to speak in the house for making ‘derogatory’ comments against the government on Saturday compared the Assembly with ‘Maya Sabha’ in Mahabharata.

Addressing the press after the Assembly adjourned sine die, he alleged that Chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao exploited his power for personal and family benefits. ‘Father (KCR), son (IT Minister KT Rama Rao) and nephew (T Harish Rao) were only running the House in the session and the rest of the Ministers and members vanished. Reddy demanded that the government construct a memorial at Budda Statue in Hussain Sagar as a tribute to the Telangana martyrs. Telangana State has been formed by the sacrifices of people of Telangana and not alone by the KCR's movement, he said.
