Cops issue guidelines for publishing advts
In an effort to safeguard interests of people and to curb fraudsters taking the route of advertisements through newspapers in cheating common public, the Detective Department of CCS (Central Crime Station) issued guidelines to regulate the procedure to be followed by print media for advertising related to financial matters.
Hyderabad: In an effort to safeguard interests of people and to curb fraudsters taking the route of advertisements through newspapers in cheating common public, the Detective Department of CCS (Central Crime Station) issued guidelines to regulate the procedure to be followed by print media for advertising related to financial matters. In a discussion on Wednesday at the DCP office, which was attended by representatives of newspaper organisations certain guidelines were framed by the police and the representatives agreed to follow the same. The representatives of print media expressed their practical problems and after discussion on those practical problems they agreed to follow the guidelines if any furnished by the investigating agency.
