Runaway horse creates mayhem

Hyderabad: A runaway horse created mayhem in front of Babu Khan Estate, after tossing the rider on its way. It landed on a Skoda car that was parked under the flyover, after shooting over the barricades placed by the traffic police near Basheerbagh Memorial. The car has been badly damaged in the incident.

The incident happened during the afternoon and had left many a people amused while the owner of the damaged car was shocked over the incident. It is said that the horse was meant for Baraat came galloping along the stretch from Babu Jagjivan Ram statue near Nizam College. The decorated horse, which could not see sideways, had already tossed its rider on its way towards Basheerbagh.

When it saw the barricades place by the police the horse lost control and hit the rear of a green coloured Skoda car with its forelegs. Under its impact the rear wind shield of the car was badly damaged and the trunk area of the car also got smashed. Later the horse went towards police control room. However, no one was injured during the accident, the owner of the car is believed to be a government official. Strangely no complaint was lodged with the police.
