Hyderabad bans Uber cab services

Hyderabad has banned Private cab service provider Uber. The transport department in Telangana released an official statement saying Uber operations were banned in the twin cities.

Here goes the statement: “As per the advisory given by the Government of India, The transport department has banned all activities related to providing of any transport service by www.uber.com with immediate effect."

This follows Delhi government's decision to ban Uber.
