Telangana approves arms badge for Prison staff

The Telangana government on Thursday approved ‘arms badge’ for all the staff and officers of the Prisons Department. As per the orders issued by Principal Secretary (Home) Ajay Mishra, the Non-Gazetted Cadre will have TSJ in place of AP Prisons and all Gazetted Cadre will have TSJS in place of APJS on their arms badge.
Hyderabad: The Telangana government on Thursday approved ‘arms badge’ for all the staff and officers of the Prisons Department. As per the orders issued by Principal Secretary (Home) Ajay Mishra, the Non-Gazetted Cadre will have TSJ in place of AP Prisons and all Gazetted Cadre will have TSJS in place of APJS on their arms badge. The expenditure for the arms badge shall be borne by the staff from their respective uniform allowance, says the orders. The GO was issued with specifications that the arms badge/logo will be of 10.5 cm length and 9 cm width size and comprises five colours, blue, red, golden, white and black.
