Hyderabad: Another road block for the government of Telangana from High court. The Hyderabad High Court on Monday said that the Telangana government’s proposal to extend Financial Assistance only to students whose parents were residents of Telangana State on November 1, 1956, would encourage divisive tendencies. The FAST scheme is thus observed troubling by the high court.



A division bench comprising Chief Justice Kalyan Jyoti Sengupta and Justice P.V. Sanjay Kumar was dealing with petitions by Pitani Satyanarayana and Dokka Manikya Varaprasada Rao challenging the FAST scheme.
