Global standard education system in Telangana: Minister
Education Minister Jagadish Reddy said on Saturday that the State government was planning to provide free education to one and all from LKG to post-graduation. The education system to be put in place shortly would become a role model for other states, he said.

The education system to be put in place shortly would become a role model for other states, he said. Speaking at the inaugural session of United Teachers Federation State conference here, Jagadish Reddy had all praise for Prof Jayashnakar and Chukka Ramaiah. He said the government was making plans to provide free education.
The Budget allocation for education sector would be increased from 10 crore to 20 crore, if need be, he said. He asked the teachers to shoulder the responsibility to implement the education policy enunciated by the government MLCs Prof Nageshwar, Sudhakar Reddy and Prof Kanchi Illaya spoke. MLA Chinta Prabhakar and union leaders were also present. The 3-day conference was attended by a good number of of teachers across the state.
