KCR Bats for Bharat Ratna to PV Narasimha Rao. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao lauded NDA-government’s decision to confer the prestigious Bharat Ratna award to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and noted academician Madan Mohan Malaviya.

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao lauded NDA-government’s decision to confer the prestigious Bharat Ratna award to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and noted academician Madan Mohan Malaviya.
In a statement issued by Chief Minister’s Office on Wednesday, KCR heaped praises on both eminent personalities, who contributed a great bit to increase the prestige of nation in the entire world. Both of them, though coming from different fields, took a key part in independence movement and later scaled heights in their respective fields, he said.
He, however, made a mention of former prime minister and son of the soil, PV Narasimha Rao, on this occasion.
Narasimha Rao is rightly eligible to receive the highest civilian award in the country. Telangana government has already proposed his name to the Centre, KCR reminded and hoped that he would also get due recognition in the future.
