Bhadrachalam: As part of Vaikunta Ekadasi Adhyayanotsavams, the presiding deity at Sitaramachandra Swamy temple here gave darshan to devotees in Krishna Avataram on Tuesday. The Lord first gave darshan to devotees at Beda Mandapam in the temple. Later, amidst rendering of ‘Hare Krishna Hare Rama’ by devotees, women devotees performing kolattam and to the accompaniment of traditional music, the processional deity was taken from the main temple to Midhila Stadium. Lord Krishna was born as the eighth child to Devaki and Vasudeva.

Lord Krishna killed his cruel uncle Kamsa and demon king Narakasura. He explained the essence of Bhagavadgita to Arjuna during the Kurukshetra war between the Pandavas and Kouravas. Devotees, who were facing problems due to Chandra Graha, believe that they get relieved of their troubles if they worship Lord Krishna.
