Family members of Gokul Chat bomb blast victims staged a protest in front of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s camp office on Thursday under the aegis of CPI city secretary Dr D Sudhakar demanding compensation from the government. Protestors regretted that the families of the victims were running from pillar to post in search of justice and relief which continues to elude.

Hyderabad: Family members of Gokul Chat bomb blast victims staged a protest in front of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s camp office on Thursday under the aegis of CPI city secretary Dr D Sudhakar demanding compensation from the government. Protestors regretted that the families of the victims were running from pillar to post in search of justice and relief which continues to elude.

They raised slogans demanding immediate release of ex-gratia and a government job for one eligible member in the family. However, the police intervened and detained the protestors to prevent a fracas. They were taken to SR Nagar police station and were later released. Police said the detention was made as a precautionary measure.
