KCR ignored social justice in constituting Cabinet, Mahajana Socialist Party (MSP) president Manda Krishna Madiga on Sunday blamed Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for failing to ensure social justice while expanding the Cabinet.

Warangal: Mahajana Socialist Party (MSP) president Manda Krishna Madiga on Sunday blamed Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for failing to ensure social justice while expanding the Cabinet.

He alleged that KCR was acting like a feudal lord and autocratic ruler like the erstwhile Nizam. The SC/STs, BCs, minorities and women who comprise 90 percent of the population in the State were given a raw deal in Cabinet berths, Krishna pointed out.

Addressing a press conference in Hanamkonda, he accused KCR of ignoring social justice and offering major Cabinet posts to upper castes. Eleven of the 18 Ministers are from upper castes, Krishna stated.

No woman was made a Minister. “This is a grave injustice, deception and mockery of the election manifesto of the TRS party,” he observed. The manifesto promised to provide 33 per cent share to women in power structure.

Laying special emphasis on MLA Konda Surekha, he questioned, “why the party leadership which found her suitable to contest the Assemby poll denied her a Cabinet berth.” Krishna said KCR should explain this.

‘The Nizams of Hyderabad who ruled for 224 years too did not appoint any women ministers.

Perhaps KCR wants to continue the Nizam’s legacy by keeping away women from the Cabinet,” he claimed.
Though the Opposition failed to raise its voice, MSP would fight KCR’s arrogant rule and for justice to the suppressed.

Marking the party’s first anniversary and condemning Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s failure to pass a resolution favouring SC categorisation in the Assembly, a ‘Vishwaroopa Mahasabha’ would be held in
Vijayawada on February 14, he stated.
