The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) on Monday informed that due to Electrical Jumpering (Power Supply Connection) from Krishna Phase-I&II to Krishna Phase-III sub stations at Kodandapur, Nasarlapally and Godakondla, interconnection pipeline at Kodandapur will be shut down for four hours on January 7 from 9.00am to 1.00pm.

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) on Monday informed that due to Electrical Jumpering (Power Supply Connection) from Krishna Phase-I&II to Krishna Phase-III sub stations at Kodandapur, Nasarlapally and Godakondla, interconnection pipeline at Kodandapur will be shut down for four hours on January 7 from 9.00am to 1.00pm.

Therefore, there will be short and delayed water supply in many areas of KDWS Phase-I and II on Wednesday. The affected areas in Krishna Phase – I are Mir-alam, Misrigunj, Jahanuma, Vattepally, Aliabad reservoir areas, Gowlipura, Talabkatta, Mogulpura, Santhoshnagar, Vinaynagar, Vaishalinagar, Chanchalguda, Yakathpura, Malakpet, Madannapet, Asmangadh, Moosarambagh, part of Dilsukhnagar and Saidabad, Naraynguda, Boggulkunta, Shivam, Adikmet, Chilkalguda, Baghlingampally, Amberpet and Ramanthapur. Similarly, the affected areas in Krishna Phase – II, Riung Main – I are Sahebngar Nagar reservoir areas, Balapur reservoir areas, Mailardevpally, Rajendranagar, Hyderguda, Kishanbagh, Asifnagar, Prashasan Nagar reservoir areas, Madhapur, Gachibowli, and part of Lingampally reservoir areas. In Ring Main – II, the affected areas consist of Marredpally reservoir areas of West Marredpally, Sithaphalmandi, Bhoiguda, Regimental Bazaar and Tarnaka and Lalapet reservoir and Control Room areas of Cantonment, MES & Railways, Moula Ali reservoir areas, Nacharam, Ellugutta Reservoir, Ramanthapur, Beerappagadda and Uppal areas, Sainikpuri reservoir, Kailashgiri reservoir and Chanakyapuri reservoir areas. The HMWSSB has requested the customers to store drinking water in advance to avoid any inconvenience.
