Speaking at Deendayal Nagar, KCR promised to develop the colony within five months by constructing buildings, with ground and first floors, and providing double-bedroom houses to the poor. He told the residents to stay in their native place on Saturday and Sunday. ‘I will summon officials from Hyderabad and neighbouring districts and they will conduct a ground-level survey to identify beneficiaries.’ His visit to houses caused concern among the police about his security. At many places, KCR entered colonies not heeding the advice of officials.
