Jagan consoles Sudheer Reddy’s parents in Warangal
The visit of YSR Congress Party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy to Hanamkonda on Monday proved to be a peaceful affair unlike the strong resistance he had faced at Mehbubabad in the past. Reddy was accorded a rousing reception by party workers. He had come to Warangal to console the parents of the party leader Bheemreddy Sudheer Reddy who died in a road accident on December 23 at Taralapalli village near Kazipet in Hanamkonda mandal.

Reddy was accorded a rousing reception by party workers. He had come to Warangal to console the parents of the party leader Bheemreddy Sudheer Reddy who died in a road accident on December 23 at Taralapalli village near Kazipet in Hanamkonda mandal.
Jagan offered floral tributes to a portrait of late Sudheer Reddy and spent about 40 minutes with his parents Aruna Devi and Yella Reddy and other family members. Jagan promised Sudheer Reddy’s family members that he would extend all possible support to them.

“Sudheer Reddy was an active worker in the party. It is a great loss to the family personally and also to the party in the district. See your son in me”, the YSRCP leader told bereaved parents of Sudheer Reddy. A large number of party workers and common public gathered at Reddy Colony where Sudheer Reddy’s residence was situated even as Jagan maintained his tour a low profile affair and told party men not to mobilise public or put up flexi boards and banners.
Yet the followers of former CM late YS Rajashekhar Reddy and YSRCP sympathisers, common public both young and old reached the colony on learning his arrival. Many have climbed on roof tops of the nearby building to have a glimpse of Jagan.
The crowd greeted with loud cheers when he greeted them. Jagan was received by the YSRCP district president J Mahender Reddy and others at Pembarthi cross roads at Jangaon. The party Telangana unit working president P Srinivasa Reddy and other accompanied Jagan.
It might be noted that Jagan’s visit to Hanamkonda on Monday was the first one after violent protests against his visit to Mahabubabad in the district on May 28, 2010 when Telangana movement was at its peak and his preventive detention by police at Vangapalli in Nalgonda district stopping him from proceeding to Mahabubabad.
