More women voters in 5 Nalgonda Assembly segments

Nalgonda: Women voters outnumber men in five of the 12 Assembly constituencies in Nalgonda district, according to the new voter’s list released on Saturday by officials here.

The constituencies with more women voters are Kodad, Suryapet, Huzurnagar, Nagarjunasagar and Miryalaguda constituencies.

There are 2,124 more women than men voters in Kodad constituency, 1,280 in Suryapet, 1,246 in Huzurnagar, 455 in Nagarjunasagar and 50 in Miryalaguda.

Nakrekal constituency has the highest number of voters (223,731), while Thungathurthy has the lowest (123,108) in the district. Incidentally, the two constituencies are reserved for SCs. Of the total 25,42, 323 voters in the district, there are 12,75,372 men and 12,66,870 women.
