Telangana Minister visits sugarcane farms in Maharashtra

Telangana Agriculture Minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, MLAs Bajireddy Govardhan and Vidyasagar Rao and Director Sugars Badru Naik interacted with around 200 sugarcane farmers and scientists at Krishi Vigyan Kendra at Baramathi in Maharashtra on Tuesday. The visiting delegation was briefed with a presentation on the modern methods of cultivation and high-yielding varieties of sugarcane.

The visiting delegation was briefed with a presentation on the modern methods of cultivation and high-yielding varieties of sugarcane.
The Minister, along with his delegation, had also inspected the fields where sugarcane farming has been taken up by Dr Pramod Bhagath, National Best Sugarcane Farmer Awardee Rajender at Someshwar. They have also visited the Someshwar Sahakari Sugar Factory during the visit.
