A case has been registered against Telugu Desam Party (TDP) senior leader and MLA A Revanth Reddy for his alleged remarks against Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. The case at Banjara Hills Police Station has been registered under Section 504 (Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace) and 505 (Statements made with intent to cause, or which is likely to cause, fear or alarm to the public) of IPC.

The case at Banjara Hills Police Station has been registered under Section 504 (Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace) and 505 (Statements made with intent to cause, or which is likely to cause, fear or alarm to the public) of IPC.

The III Metropolitan Magistrate Court at Nampally has directed Revanth Reddy to appear in person on March 30 in connection with the case. The Nampally Court had recently directed the police authorities to file a case against Reddy following a petition filed by an Advocate Govardhan, alleging that Revanth had passed improper remarks against KCR and Minister K T Rama Rao.
