Ponnala Slams KCR Over ‘False’ Promises. K Chandrashekar Rao has lost moral rights to continue as CM as he has failed on many fronts and violated the constitution, stated Telangana PCC president Ponnala Lakshmaiah.

Warangal: K Chandrashekar Rao has lost moral rights to continue as CM as he has failed on many fronts and violated the constitution, stated Telangana PCC president Ponnala Lakshmaiah. KCR has been violating the law by encouraging Opposition party MLAs to defect against the oath on constitution he took while swearing-in to the post. The Congress would move the court seeking legal action against the Chief Minister, the TPCC chief said.

Reacting over a query on Congress inducting TRS MLAs during the regime of late YS Rajasekhara Reddy, Lakshmaiah said YSR never violated the law. “The TRS MLAs joined voluntarily, remained as associate members in the party” he said.

Moreover, Rajasekhara Reddy did not offer the party flags to welcome the Opposition MLAs either at camp office or at Gandhi Bhavan, whereas, KCR had been inviting the MLAs at his camp office and even during official programmes. The CM has also failed to address swine flu incidences until his own “family members” and party leaders contracted the disease. When Congress leaders tried to caution the government mechanism over the spread of the disease the TRS leaders gave it political colour. Speaking to mediapersons at his residence in Hanamkonda on Friday, he accused the CM of acting in arrogant manner. “He acts like an autocrat; would not listen to any positive and constructive suggestions” he said. “KCR is lacking experience and awareness on running the government and hence there was chaos in every government departments”, he said.
