DK Aruna Hits Back at Harish Rao Over Palamuru Development. Former minister and Congress MLA D K Aruna here on Sunday hit back at the comments of Irrigation Minister Harish Rao that there was hardly any development in Palamuru during the five-year term of D K Aruna.
Mahbubnagar: Former minister and Congress MLA D K Aruna here on Sunday hit back at the comments of Irrigation Minister Harish Rao that there was hardly any development in Palamuru during the five-year term of D K Aruna.
She said that the Minister should have accompanied her to experience the development she had achieved instead going on his own.
How the minister could remark that there was no development in the district even after witnessing all the projects that were undertaken, she wondered. The TRS Government which promised that it would complete all the projects in a year did nothing except visiting the projects, she stated. The former minister said that chief minister Chandrasekhar Rao though he was elected as an MP from the district, hardly did anything for its development.
She said that the chief minister was paying only obeisance to the gods all the time but how he was going to pay obeisance to the people who got him elected.
