Harish Rao Lashes Out at Ponnala Lakshmaiah. He lashed out at the former minister and PCC Chief Ponnala Lakshmaiah for not developing even a single check dam while he was the Irrigation Minister.
Siddipet (Medak): Minister for Irrigation T Harish Rao wondered as to why the Congress Party was criticising the decision of the TRS government to release arrears of Rs 1700 crore for fee reimbursements to the poor students of Telangana state.

Speaking to the media here on Sunday during his whirlwind tour of the Siddipet constituency in the district, he ridiculed the criticism of the Congress leaders like Ponnala when Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao was trying to come to the rescue of the students.
Later, Harish Rao distributed pattas for three acres of land to 22 dalit families in Khata village of Nangunuru mandal in the district. In his address, he said that the dalits should cultivate their lands and not sell them for monetary gains.
He said that credit should go to Chief Minister KCR for introducing several welfare schemes in the state for the poor.
