Ponnala Lakshmaiah Opposes Shifting of Chest Hospital. Speaking on the occasion, Lakshmaiah said that he was opposing the decision to shift Chest Hospital from Hyderabad and he would take legal support if necessary to stop the shifting.

Sangareddy (Medak): Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president Ponnala Lakshmaiah on Sunday said that the TRS government had failed to get the electricity share to Telangana in accordance with the State Re-organisation Bill.

Lakshmaiah organised a constituency-level meeting with the party workers at IB Guest House in Sangareddy here and concentrated mainly on strengthening the party from grassroots level.

Speaking on the occasion, Lakshmaiah said that he was opposing the decision to shift Chest Hospital from Hyderabad and he would take legal support if necessary to stop the shifting.

Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was acting in an ignorant manner as he lacked administrative experience, the PCC Chief said.

“The TRS government has no interest in public welfare and it is not paying attention to the promises made during elections. Congress always takes the side of the people on every issue,” Ponnala said.

He pointed out that the previous Congress government had increased the old-age pension from Rs 75 to Rs 200.

Ponnala noted down some suggestions given by the party activists in the meeting.
