Adilabad: Former minister D Sreedhar Babu alleged here on Sunday that the water grid project taken up by the Telangana government was just to benefit the contractors.
He opined that the water grid project built in Gujarat and the project at Telangana cannot be compared.
He also demanded that the government should immediately withdraw the proposal to construct the buildings for State Secretariat at a new place.
He warned the government that he would prevent the construction by starting a public movement against the Chief Minister’s plans to shift the Secretariat to a new place.
