All vacant posts in police dept will be filled up: Naini

Hyderabad: Home Minister Naini Narasimha Reddy on Monday announced that the Telangana Government would soon begin the process of recruitment in the Police Department.

Speaking to the media here, the Home Minister said that the government would fill all the vacant posts in the police department and would also create news posts, as and when required. With a view to improve the functioning of the police department, he said that the government has sanctioned new police stations, women's and traffic police stations across the State.

Emphasising on people-friendly policing, the Home Minister directed the police personnel to ensure maintenance of law and order at any cost. He said that the State Government would not compromise on the issue of law and order and would take stringent measures to control the crimes.
