They also opened a shopping complex belonging to a cooperative society at Konapur village in Ramayampet mandal. Later, speaking to the media, Naini said that the Police Department is implementing weekend offs to the police personnel of Nalgonda district. “Weekend offs would be extended to police personnel throughout the state very soon,” he added.

The Home Minister stated that the Telangana government would construct quarters for policemen in the state apart from modernising police stations and giving high priority to welfare of police personnel. He pointed out that atrocities against women have gone down in Hyderabad after ‘She Teams’ were formed to nab eve-teasers.
