Metpally Excise CI in ACB net.The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials caught Excise Circle Inspector Laxman Goud red-handed while accepting bribe of Rs 45,000 from a liquor shop owner K Anand Goud at the Excise office in Metpally town on Thursday.
Karimnagar: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials caught Excise Circle Inspector Laxman Goud red-handed while accepting bribe of Rs 45,000 from a liquor shop owner K Anand Goud at the Excise office in Metpally town on Thursday.
Anand Goud is running a liquor outlet at Mallapur mandal headquarters in the district. Circle Inspector Laxman Goud has been harassing Anand Goud for some time now to pay him monthly bribe. Laxman Goud warned Anand Goud that he would seal his shop if he failed to pay him monthly bribe.
Vexed Anand Goud informed ACB DSP Sudarshan Goud that the CI was threatening him demading monthly bribe.The ACB officials laid a trap and caught Laxman Goud. DSP Sudarshan Goud said that a case was registered against the accused and he will be produced in ACB court soon.
