When temple priest Srinivasacharyulu went to offer the morning prayers on Tuesday, he found that the lock of the temple door was broken and the idols of Sri Rama and Lakshmana were stolen. He immediately informed temple Chairman Pannala Lakshma Reddy about the theft. Lakshma Reddy lodged a complaint with the police. Sub-Inspector Malakonda Rayudu registered a case and took up investigation.
